When I met Emma, something about her design sensibilities immediately felt right to me. She has a strong sense of color that is a once classic and surprising. 

The design of the plaid, created by the talented Emma Harling, pays homage to the rich Chatham heritage. Her vision artfully weaves tradition with contemporary aesthetics, resulting in a pattern that feels both modern and refreshingly original. Whether draped over a sofa, layered on a bed, or wrapped around your shoulders, this throw embodies elegance, quality, and a deep connection to legacy.

We wanted to create a spacial fabric for this that blends softness and strength. We made a blend of mohair and merino wool at our mill in New England. Like our other throws, it was made adhering to American wool manufacturing practices dating back to the 1800s with extreme attention paid to each step. This carefully made fabric delivers unparalleled soft strength while ensuring long-lasting durability, making it a timeless possession.
